Spoon Rolls Recipe

Ready to bake yeast rolls anytime. Will keep in refrigerater for at least two weeks. Be sure to store in container large enough to allow for more than double expansion of dough. Tight fitting lid a must.

Ingredients

  • 1 package regular yeast
  • 4 cups self rise flour
  • 2 cups warm water
  • 3/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 egg

Directions

  1. Combine all ingredients and stir well. Spoon into pam sprayed muffin tins. Bake 400 degrees 15 to 20 minutes, or until golden brown.
  2. Leave at room temperature all day to get sour dough smell and taste. Can also be cooked like pancakes.
  3. I recommend doing half recipe for small families. Half recipe will make at least 12 rolls.
